Block Print and Collage
I made this ballerina block print by carving out the background to create a stamp. Though I think I achieved good balance on the block with the words and the ballerina, I am a bit disappointed with this piece. Sometimes, I wasn't able to carve away enough so that ink got on the background. The collage, on the other hand, I was really happy with. I like how on the surface it seems really messing, but the repetition of the print in different colors and balance makes it art-worthy. I only have the picture of the block, but when we get our projects back I will put the collage up too!

I can't wait to see the pictures of the dancer!!! The print was so amazing :) When we did the project with the reject prints I automatically grabbed yours for Hannah to use because I knew that she would definitely be inspired! Your collage was phenomenal :P I love the splatter paint
